Anything, really. But these are the messages that change what gets published here, and they are worth the ten minutes it takes to send one.

01A number on this site is wrongThis is the most useful message we get. Every figure here is arithmetic, and arithmetic can be checked, so send the page and the line and it gets corrected rather than argued about. There are 294 worked savings targets on the site and every calculator behind them comes out of one file, so a fault in one is usually a fault in all of them and worth finding.
02An expense is in the wrong envelopeThe four categories are a judgement call at the edges, which is why 130 everyday expenses are sorted out in the open rather than left as four definitions. If one of them is filed somewhere you would not file it, say which and why. The awkward cases are argued out on the page, and the argument can be lost.
03A primary source for the savings claimThe figure that kakeibo saves 20 to 35 percent circulates across this whole niche and we could not trace it to anything. We do not repeat it. If you can point us at the original study or the original publication, we will publish it, correct the pages that currently say we found nothing, and credit you by name unless you would rather we did not.
04A guide that should exist and does notEvery guide in the library was written for a question we thought we could answer better than the page already ranking for it. If you got stuck somewhere the library does not cover, that is the most direct way to influence what gets written next.
05The app misbehavedTell us what you were doing, what happened, and which device. Purchases run through your Apple account, so refunds and cancellations are handled by Apple rather than by us, but we can still help you work out what happened.

02Corrections

How corrections are handled

Publicly, and on the page that was wrong. We do not quietly edit a figure and move on, because a site whose whole argument is that it does the arithmetic honestly cannot also be a site that revises numbers in silence. If a correction changes a conclusion rather than a decimal place, the page says what it used to say.

This matters more here than it would on most sites, because the numbers are the product. The reading is optional; the division is not.

03Why no form

A text box would cost the promise the calculators make.

Why there is no contact form

This website has no server behind it. That is exactly why the calculators can promise that the income and spending you type into them never leave your browser, a promise the privacy page makes in plain words. A contact form would need somewhere to post to, and we would rather keep the promise than have the text box.

MomentumLab AI Pty Ltd, a small software studio in Australia.
